Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for the past 40 years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. After that, she performed in a number of Broadway productions before she became an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. Her first music album It's Time for Tina in the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. The film was hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully move between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural or The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
