Cecily strong
Cecily Legler Strong is a known American stand-up comic and actor well-known as a prominent character on the show 'Saturday Night Live'. After attending an improv workshop when she was nine years old when she was nine, she started her acting career. Her initial goal was to become an actor, however, she realized her true calling is comedy. Her next step was performing in improv. Her first professional gig was on a cruise liner, playing with fellow members of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong appeared at top events such as Chicago Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She also appeared with Virgin Daiquiri, an all-female troupe, as well as New York Sketchfest. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she made her debut on "Saturday night Live" its 39th Season as a featured cast member as a co-host of for the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. The most memorable moment for Cecily during the series was her character in 'The Girl You Wish You Never Started a Conversation with in a Bar'. The same year, she debuted in film in 'How To Sponsor A Uterus. She has a strong opinion against women being treated in showbiz as bikini models or just girlfriends but not as major character in mainstream films.
